JON GLASER IS “NEON JOE, WEREWOLF HUNTER” – NEW SHOW PREMIERES DECEMBER 7 ON ADULT SWIM – TRAILER
You know JON GLASER as Lena Dunham’s neighbor Laird on Girls, as Amy Poehler’s nemesis Councilman Jeremy Jamm on Parks & Recreation, and “Jon” on his Adult Swim series Delocated, also from the movie Trainwreck, Inside Amy Schumer (recent Emmy win!), Louie, Difficult People, as an Emmy nominated writer and performer on Conan, early NYC comedy partner with Jon Benjamin (The Fuggedabuddies, The Red Wine Boys) + a TON of writing credits. And soon you’ll know him as “Neon Joe, Werewolf Hunter.” Set in the pretend sleepy enclave of Garrity, VT (aka “B&B Town, USA!”), Neon Joe, Werewolf Hunter is the story of a neon-clad man with a mysterious past and a highly specialized skill set – hunting werewolves. When a sudden plague of inexplicable werewolf fatalities strikes, the Garrity sheriff’s department finds itself in over its head and the fate of the townspeople is left up to Neon Joe. Will he catch the beast before the next full moon, or will it live another day and kill again? This half-hour live-action mini-series is created by Jon Glaser, produced by PFFR, and stars Glaser as “Neon Joe” with Scott Adsit (30 Rock), Stephanie March (Law & Order: SVU), Steve Little (Eastbound and Down), and Steve Cirbus (Delocated). Neon Joe, Werewolf Hunter premieres on Monday, December 7th at Midnight E/P and will air over 5 consecutive nights on Adult Swim.

JUDAH FRIEDLANDER (30 ROCK) DREW A BOOK! “IF THE RAINDROPS UNITED” OUT THIS WEEK + TOUR DATES
You know JUDAH FRIEDLANDER from his role as Frank Rossitano on 30 Rock as well as his roles in acclaimed films like Wet Hot American Summer, American Splendor, and The Wrestler. But long before he became a stand-up comic and actor, Friedlander drew stuff. His new book, IF THE RAINDROPS UNITED (Hachette Books) is a collection of hilarious and surprisingly profound drawings and comics that shows a new side of Friedlander’s comedy and marks a milestone in the career of one of America’s most inventive comedians. It is out tomorrow and Judah will be on tour in support - dates below.
Hailed by Tina Fey as “one of the all-time great weirdos,” Judah’s drawings and cartoons push boundaries, exploring absurdities from American life and sex to history and human rights. Whether imagining George Washington in Las Vegas, plastic surgery for imperfect triangles, or the Keystone Pipeline as a sex act, Friedlander’s riotous drawings in IF THE RAINDROPS UNITED are laugh-out-loud funny, thought-provoking, and conversation-starting.

“Judah has drawn a weird and funny book in the grand ‘70’s tradition of B. Kliban! I think this book will probably fix the world.” —Tina Fey
“An exercise in brilliant efficiency. One of the funniest and most insightful books ever drawn.” —J.J. Abrams
“Some people meditate. Some people masturbate. But if you don’t have the time or patience for either of those, I recommend reading If The Raindrops United to calm down, have a little laugh or a big think.”—Susan Sarandon
“Judah’s drawings are deceptively simple, yet they become more compelling with every page. His talent as an actor/writer/comedian is further conveyed in ANOTHER medium. He’s a Quadruple Threat. He wears many hats. Literally.”—Janeane Garofalo
“I’ve known Judah for many years and I still don’t understand how his mind works, but it sure works. Seriously strange. Seriously funny. A national treasure. Sadly, I need to get a restraining order against him.”—Paul Giamatti
“Underneath his World Champion hat, Judah Friedlander is the owner/operator of a wildly creative and thought-provoking brain.”—Wyatt Cenac
“Judah thank you for writing a funny twisted book. It is such an easy read. Even dum dums like me can enjoy it!!! Buy this book.”—Dave Attell
WAYNE FEDERMAN DEBUT COMEDY ALBUM + LINER NOTES BY JUDD APATOW OUT OCT 16
ASPECIALTHING RECORDS set to release the debut comedy album from veteran comedian WAYNE FEDERMAN. Recorded over the past three decades (1984-2015) in numerous venues, ‘THE CHRONICLES OF FEDERMAN’ is a unique comedy retrospective. The sweeping three-volume set spans Wayne’s journey from New York’s traditional comedy clubs during the “comedy boom” of the 80s, to Los Angeles’ alternative rooms, and on to major theaters and festivals. The album provides a fascinating look at both the development of an original comedian who continues to create inspired material, and the evolution of modern American stand-up over the past thirty years.
Longtime admirer JUDD APATOW wrote in the extensive liner notes, “Every time I have seen him on stage he has been pure joy to watch. His observational humor is unique and insightful, plus he is a fine musician who has written inspired jokes for the piano and the ukulele. There is nothing predictable about his act… He’s whimsical and super weird in the best way.”
Wayne’s talents reach beyond that of a legendary stand-up. He is also a successful actor known for his appearances on television and in movies such as The X-Files, Community, The Larry Sanders Show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Funny People, Knocked Up, Fifty First Dates, Legally Blonde, The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Step Brothers. He was the head monologue writer for NBC’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon over its first year, and also created the wildly successful Annual Wayne Federman International Film Festival.
