New York City five piece
LA STRADA - James Craft, Devon Press, Ted Lattis, Brady Miller, and Daniel Baer - are proud to announce the release of their anxiously-awaited full length debut '
New Home,' available this April on
Ernest Jenning Record Co.
Recorded at Miner Street Studios in Philadelphia and The Buddy Project in Queens, and produced by Kyle "Slick" Johnson (Cymbals Eat Guitars, Modest Mouse, Fischerspooner), 'New Home' is a 13-track album inspired by everything from African pop to French pop, folk tunes to indie rock, Brooklyn life to travels abroad. La Strada's expansive pop channels lyrical wanderlust and raw emotion with voices, strings, accordian, guitars, horns and drums. As heard on 'New Home,' La Strada is one of the most exciting and unique-sounding outfits making music today.
Formed in early 2007, La Strada quickly made a name for itself with raucous, foot-stomping shows. Having built a solid fanbase in NY while sharing stages with Takka Takka, Sharon Van Etten, O'Death, Stars Like Fleas, and Clare and the Reasons, and having toured North America with the likes of Bowerbirds and Canada's Hey Rosetta! and Cuff the Duke, La Strada has lit up stages with their spectrum of musical color. A record release show in NYC will hit around the April 20 release date of 'New Home.' In the meantime, you can catch La Strada at the dates below, including SXSW, and in a brand new
