As an actor, Jon's film credits include Be Kind Rewind, School For Scoundrels, Pootie Tang, and Baby Mama. TV credits include 30 Rock, Wonder Showzen, and The Daily Show. Jon has done voices for numerous cartoons, including Lucy: Daughter of the Devil, Freak Show, TV Funhouse, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and Stroker and Hoop. He appears as Video Cowboy in the ESPN web series Mayne Street, and he created, wrote, directed and starred in a series of web shorts for Comedy Central called Tiny Hands.
As a writer and consultant, Jon’s credits include Late Night with Conan O’Brien (where he wrote for 5 years and was a regular performer), The Dana Carvey Show, Human Giant, Cheap Seats, and Saturday Night Live. He has written several stories for The New York Times Magazine, and his writing has also appeared in ESPN The Magazine, The Onion A.V. Club, and the book Howl! He is currently writing a book for Harper Perennial about fake documents from the world of rock and roll.
